Thiago Rios is a Brazilian drummer, filmmaker, educator, and creative entrepreneur with over 28 years of professional experience in the music and audiovisual industries. Internationally recognized for his work as a session drummer, Thiago has recorded official soundtracks for acclaimed Japanese anime productions, including Dr. Stone, Cat’s Eye, and Kawagoe Boys Sing, with releases distributed worldwide through platforms such as Netflix, Disney +, Crunchyroll, and Universal Music. Beyond music, Thiago has built a successful career as a filmmaker, producing commercials, documentaries, live productions, and branded content for international clients and major brands. His experience includes high-end commercial productions in South Florida and collaborations on projects involving globally recognized companies and public figures. As an entrepreneur, Thiago is the Founder and Creative Director of weR Music & Film Academy in Margate, Florida, while also leading a music school in Brazil that has been inspiring students since 2012. Through his work as an educator, producer, and creative director, he is committed to helping the next generation of musicians, filmmakers, and content creators develop both artistic excellence and real-world professional skills.
